Selank

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide analogue of tuftsin, developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It has been extensively researched for its anxiolytic and nootropic properties, with a key differentiator being the absence of sedation or dependency risk seen in conventional anxiolytics.

Selank is believed to modulate BDNF expression and influence serotonin, dopamine, and GABA activity. It also inhibits the enzymatic breakdown of enkephalins — endogenous peptides central to stress and mood regulation.
